1. Overview
ViralOS ("ViralOS", "we", "us") operates the website at https://viralos.cloud and the ViralOS application, a content intelligence platform that helps creators and businesses understand content performance signals.
ViralOS evaluates observable content signals and publicly documented platform factors. It does not access or reverse-engineer proprietary platform ranking systems.
2. Google Account and Google Sign-In Data
ViralOS lets you create an account and sign in using Google Sign-In. If you choose this option, Google shares basic account information with ViralOS through its authentication flow. ViralOS requests only the standard sign-in scopes (openid, email and profile). The information we receive is:
- your name
- your email address
- your profile image (avatar)
- your Google account identifier
We use this information only to create and authenticate your ViralOS account, display your name and avatar in the application, and associate your account with the ViralOS workspaces you create or join.
ViralOS never receives your Google password. ViralOS does not access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Photos, Google Contacts, YouTube or any other Google API data through Google Sign-In.
You can revoke ViralOS's access at any time from the security settings of your Google Account (myaccount.google.com/permissions). Revoking access stops future Google sign-ins; it does not delete your ViralOS account, which you can request as described in "Data Deletion and Account Closure".
3. Google API Services User Data Policy
ViralOS's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Google user data is used only to provide the sign-in and account functionality you authorized. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide the service, comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with appropriate notice. We do not use Google user data to train AI models.
4. Information We Collect
Account information: your name, email address, authentication details (a hashed password if you sign up with email, or your Google account identifier if you use Google Sign-In), profile image and account preferences.
Workspace information: workspace names and settings, workspace members and their roles, and the plan selected for a workspace.
Information you submit: social media and website URLs you submit for analysis, content, captions and descriptions, business and product information, audience, market, language and category context, experiment inputs, performance results you log, and content you create in ViralOS.
Social and public content: when you submit a URL, ViralOS may retrieve publicly accessible page metadata (such as title, description and preview image) to analyze it. ViralOS does not bypass logins, paywalls or privacy settings, and does not attempt to access private content without authorization. If a page cannot be accessed, ViralOS shows limited analysis or asks you to enter details manually.
Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, timestamps, server logs and diagnostic/error information needed to operate and secure the service.
5. How ViralOS Uses Information
We use information to:
- provide, operate and maintain ViralOS
- authenticate users and maintain accounts and workspaces
- perform the content analyses you request
- generate Viral Score and Viral DNA analyses
- provide algorithm, trend, audience, pattern, competitor and growth intelligence
- generate recommendations and support experiments and learning features
- improve reliability and security
- provide customer support
- process subscriptions, where billing applies
- detect abuse and protect the service
- comply with legal obligations
Information you provide (such as business context or logged results) is used to tailor analysis to your workspace. Publicly observable information (such as metadata of a public URL) is used only to analyze the content you submitted.
6. ViralOS Intelligence and AI Processing
ViralOS processes submitted information, including with AI-assisted processing, to generate analysis, recommendations and intelligence.
ViralOS provides analytical and decision-support insights based on observable signals, documented platform information, user-provided information, and ViralOS models. These insights are not guarantees of future performance. ViralOS does not guarantee virality, reach, engagement, conversions or algorithmic outcomes.
8. Third-Party Services
ViralOS relies on third-party providers for cloud hosting, database and authentication infrastructure, and AI processing. These providers process information on our behalf only as needed to provide their services. Google provides the optional Google Sign-In; Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
10. Data Storage and Retention
Account information is retained while your account is active. Workspace data, including analysis history, is retained while the workspace exists so that its history and intelligence remain available.
Some records may be retained after deletion where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, dispute resolution or other legitimate operational purposes. Residual copies in backups are removed over time as backups are rotated.
11. Data Deletion and Account Closure
You can request deletion of your ViralOS account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us as described in "Contact Us". We will verify the request comes from the account holder and then delete or anonymize your account information and the workspace data you own, subject to the retention exceptions above. Disconnecting a social account or revoking Google access does not by itself delete your data.
12. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration, including access controls that keep each workspace's data separate. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
13. Children
ViralOS is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
14. International Data Processing
Depending on the infrastructure and service providers involved, your information may be processed in countries other than your own, which may have different data protection laws. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate protection for such processing.
15. Your Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:
- access the information we hold about you
- correct inaccurate information
- request deletion of your information
- withdraw consent, where processing is based on consent
- request information about how your information is processed
To exercise these rights, contact us as described below. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
ViralOS may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Last Updated date at the top of this page and, for material changes, provide notice where appropriate.
17. Contact Us
